Stephen Giannetti lives in Davis, and shows at the Heather Marx Gallery in San Francisco. He had a one man show at the Oakland Museum's City Center branch in 2006 and his permanent painting in the Davis Police Station is well known locally. His paintings of thinned, overlapping oil paint circles take hundreds of hours of careful hand application.
